This poppy seed honey mustard dressing is pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. And let’s be honest… I’m not a huge dressing fan. Not until I started making my own, that is.

For years I would suffer through store bought dressings on top of salads thinking I was doing myself a favor by eating more “healthy.” Little did I know that almost every store bought brand of salad dressing is loaded with rancid vegetable oils (many of which are GMO). Ugh. No thanks.

I’ve made quite a few homemade dressings since then. And you know what? They are much tastier. And so easy to make. And not full of rancid PUFA grossness.

This poppy seed honey mustard dressing is one of my favorites. I love the flavor it brings to whatever I put it on. It’s perfect for salads or used as a dip. My husband puts it on everything. But he’s a little weird…

Best part? You can mix this together in a snap and have it ready to go. Of course you can always play around with the ratio. Add a little more honey if you like it sweeter… or a little less if you don’t. I love how individual cooking can be.

Many people turn to salads for a healthy option - but most salad dressings are anything but healthy. Instead make your own! This poppy seed honey mustard dressing is great for any salad or for dipping veggies in.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl mix mustards together with a fork. Stir in honey and vinegar.
  2. Whisk in Olive Oil until fully incorporated
  3. Stir in poppy seeds.
  4. From here you can move this over into some sort of "dressing" container. But I won't judge you if you just keep it in the same bowl. I'm all about doing less dishes.
