Year in Review: Top 10 TYB posts and MORE!

2013. What a year! I’ll admit that this past year has been FULL. Lots of good things, plenty of stressful things, and overall just busy, busy, busy. I’m really looking forward to 2014. I love the New Year. I love making goals. I love clean beginnings. And I really believe that 2014 is going to be awesome! But before I dive into a new year I wanted to look back at the big events of Thank Your Body during 2013.

2013 Highlights

Despite an uncomfortable pregnancy, a stressful move (at 37 weeks preggo), and trying to find balance in the stressful day-to-day of working at home and being a mom and wife, there were a lot of great things about 2013. The two that really stick out are:

1. The birth of Baby D!

Obviously this is the best thing about this year. We welcomed Baby D through a beautiful home birth. He’s a smiley, wonderful boy who has completed our little family. We are so lucky and blessed to have him in our lives.

2. The birth of a new business!

Early this year we officially launched Thank Your Body as a LLC. It still blows my mind that I have been lucky enough to turn my passion and hobby into a living. The best part was that my husband was able to quit his job that he hated to by my technical genius. We’re not millionaires and it’s definitely more work than I ever imagined, but overall I feel tremendously humbled that we are open for business. In the past year we’ve had over 2.5 million unique visitors spend some time with us through the site. Thank you! Words cannot describe how grateful I am for each of you.

Goals for 2014

I have lots of fun ideas swimming in my mind for the new year. I’ll be presenting in the New Year, New You summit that’s happening in a week. (You can sign up to hear all the amazing speakers FOR FREE here.) I’m also working on some cool products to help people find an even healthier and happier way of being. (I know, so cryptic.)

Mostly I want 2014 to be a year where I can give back to my readers. I want YOU to know how great you are and to have as many options as possible to make your life better.

    I want 2014 to be the best year ever…I want to lose weight, eat vegetables, walk more, ride my bike more….take up my painting again..See my grandkids more and spend more time with them….God’s blessings are all around, just reach out to him……
