Thank Your Body Thursday #28

Welcome to Thank Your Body Thursday! It’s that time of the week where you link up your healthy-living posts!

Here are the most clicked posts from last week (Make sure you link your posts back to this post or you can’t be featured!):

1. Homemade Ingrown Hair Removal Mask! by 5 Minutes

2. Six Steps to Smart Exercise AND Soy Lecithin: The Sludge in Your Chocolate by Girl Meets Nourishment

3. Is it Okay to Buy Crackers at the Store? by Plus Other Good Stuff

Great posts, guys! Thank you!

Don’t forget: You must link back to this post in order to be featured. I’ve had posts that had enough clicks for a feature, but no link back. Sadness ensued.

It’s time to share your posts!

Bloggers, use the linky tool on the bottom of this post to share your healthy living tips and posts. Non-bloggers, feel free to add a comment here with any ideas or thoughts you have to “thank” our bodies. Every week I will be featuring the most viewed posts so link-up your best ones. I will also be featuring my personal favorite posts on my facebook page throughout the week:

There are only 2 simple guidelines I’d like for you to follow:

1. Posts should be about healthy living. Keep in mind the mission of Thank Your Body. Some ideas:

Real food recipes
Exercise, yoga, and other fitness topics
Toxic-free living, all natural care products, healthy DIY, or other “green” tips
Homeopathic or other natural approaches to health and medicine
Inspirational or motivational posts on healthy living, etc.

Please NO:

Recipes using processed foods, refined sugar/flour, etc. (And we’re not real big on weight watchers, low-fat, calorie restrictive, or other “diet” foods here. Just real food.)
Product endorsements
Links to other blog carnivals
Extreme anything. (Health is about balance, not fads.)

2. Please link your posts back to THIS post. Linking back here helps build our little community by sending your readers to all of the other posts shared. If you don’t link back, your post will be deleted.

If you don’t not link back you cannot be featured!

That’s it!

Let’s get this party started!

NOTE: Due to an never-ending cesspool of spam, I have made the tough decision to close comments 14 days after the original posting of all posts. If you have a burning question or are looking for support in your journey to healthy living, please join the Thank Your Body Friends facebook page here.

STANDARD FTC DISCLOSURE: In order for me to support my blogging activities, I may receive monetary compensation or other types of remuneration for my endorsement, recommendation, testimonial and/or link to any products or services from this blog. Please note, I only ever endorse products that are in alignment with Thank Your Body's ideals and I believe would be of value to my readers. You may read my full disclosure statements here.

  14. This Woman Writes -- Carolyn Henderson

Oddly, chickens teach us about a lot of things in life, and whether you want to eat healthier, embark upon an exercise plan, or understand what the controversy is about GMOs, it’s good to remember that not everything you read about chickens — or anything else — is true. Many people propounding to be experts can give us information that isn’t necessarily true, and it’s up to us — always — to research, read, analyze, and make thoughtful decisions.

    Thank you for hosting!!

We’re working through Nourishing Traditions and the next topic is carbs… What exactly IS a carbohydrate? And what’s the difference between unrefined and refined carbs? Two seemingly simple questions that we must know the answers to before we can begin preparing these foods traditionally!

    Hi Robin!
I just stumbled upon you through facebook and I LOVE everything I’ve read so far! I’ve been (very) gradually moving toward a more natural lifestyle and you have so many helpful tips, resources and ideas (I think I’ve spent at least 2 hours reading different posts and links). And, before I even started reading I was in the process of working on a “no poo” blog post that I may just link up here.
    Thanks so much!!!
