Isn’t giving fun? Let’s do another giveaway!

Another “just because” giveaway. It’s that time of year, right? Time to give.

For those of you who follow me on facebook, you once again had the chance to help pick the prize. And the prize that won the popularity vote is:

Lodge Logic 12″ Cast Iron Skillet

I love my cast iron skillet. I use it A LOT. And once you get it seasoned well, it’s the best nonstick surface ever. Much better than that toxic-coated teflon stuff.

Oh yeah, and this will last FOREVER. (Or at least beyond my life, if I treat it well).

Can you say that about your cookware?  If not, you should definitely enter to win this!

How to enter

Simply enter using the Rafflecopter widget below. There are no mandatory entries. Do whatever you like to improve your odds of winning. Again, you may notice that following me on Google+ and Pinterest are worth even MORE entries… that’s because I want to entice you to come follow me in other places!

Of course, if you are already a follower on any of these sites or already signed up for my newsletter, just click “ok” and you’ll be good to go.

The giveaway ends Friday, December 14th at midnight. I’ll announce a winner sometime on Saturday, December 15th. (I’ll announce the winner on facebook, G+, and it will be posted on the Rafflecopter above.)

Now go, my friends, and WIN!

*For the record, these “just because” giveaways are not affiliate giveaways. I purchase these with my own money. Because I love you. And you are awesome.  :)

Oh, I need this! I’m currently using T-fal non-stick skillets and really need to replace them. I’m tired of using toxic cooking material! But, no job means I’ve got to use what I have unless I can win something;)

I think my favorite holiday tradition is the lights and stories. We read every type of Christmas book together and have Christmas music on non-stop at home. I love it!

Flying home :) I’ve lived abroad for 15 years and my favourite part of the holidays is flying home to see my family.

We don’t have many traditions yet since our family is still pretty young. We have always laid under the tree though even without kids to look at the lights. This year since my son is old enough I want to start the tradition of making ornaments every year to add to the tree.

My favorite tradition is having a family dinner and afterwards, decorating the house for Christmas together.

love the smell of fresh balsam decorations – wreaths, roping, trees and tucking twigs into corners around the house. yummy!

My favorite holiday tradition is baking a birthday cake for Jesus on Christmas Eve with our 3 girls and decorating it and singing Happy Birthday to Jesus on Christmas Day.

I love cast iron and grew up with my mom cooking with it. Thank you for being so generous with your money!

I think my favorite thing is decorating the tree and talking about the memories attached to each of our ornaments.

My favorite thing is opening our home to those that have no family to be with on Christmas Day.
No one should be lonely any time but especially on a holiday when emotions are high.

My favorite holiday tradition is going to my moms on Christmas morning with my immediate family and exchanging gifts with my siblings and parents.

I just love sitting around with family, inlaws and my own snacking on delicious food and just enjoying each other’s company!!! :)

I love taking my little guy to my folks on Christmas Eve and doing a little game to find the first present of Christmas for him – pj’s for that night! We’ve only done it a couple of years, but it will definitely be continued as he gets older!
